Tailored Built-In Cabinetry Features:
The Rare & The Remarkable

1

Floor-to-Ceiling Custom Cabinetry Walls

A true private library begins with custom cabinetry designed from floor to ceiling. We design custom library shelving systems with adjustable shelf standards, integrated task lighting, and ladder track hardware that combine drama and utility at the highest level. Every bay of custom cabinetry is proportioned to the room’s architecture, never to a manufacturer’s standard module.

2

Custom Wine Cellar Cabinetry and Connoisseur’s Storage

Engineered for the serious collector. A wine collection deserves a home as distinguished as the bottles themselves. We design fully custom wine cellars and display walls that balance precise storage requirements with dramatic visual presentation. From individual bottle cradles to case storage and tasting counter integration, every detail is considered for both function and theatre.

3

Custom Cabinetry Built to Your Exact Dimensions

Size and configuration without limits. True custom built-ins mean never being restricted by standard dimensions. We work directly from your home’s architectural drawings and field measurements to engineer solutions that fit precisely, accounting for soffits, sloped ceilings, structural columns, and every other real-world constraint that off-the-shelf furniture cannot accommodate.

Our Design Process

Step 1  Make Appointment

Make an appointment to meet at our showroom to see the many different kinds of cabinetry that we offer. Our preliminary discussions will include what style of design you prefer (contemporary, traditional or transitional), what finishes are you looking for and how do you use the space. If we are looking at the kitchen, who cooks, how often do you cook, what type of cooking do you do, are you a baker, what type of appliances are you considering? If we are looking at a bathroom, how many sinks, how many drawers, is the vanity floating or down to the floor, what about linen storage? Other areas will be discussed similarly.

Step 2  Review the Space

If you have blue prints or plans, we can review them at the showroom. If not, we meet at the site to take preliminary dimensions (there is no charge for this service). We discuss your preferences for the space (are there any walls you want removed, are you replacing the floor, do you want to change the appliance location?) We discuss some of our design ideas that address your needs. We will also discuss lead times for different products and scheduling for the project.

Step 3  Putting Together a Budget

Now that we have dimensions and yours and our design and finish ideas, we will help you put together a budget. We estimate for you cabinetry costs, counter top costs, appliances, contractor work, etc. If you approve the budget, it’s time to work on the plans. At this time, we will request a small retainer in order to begin working on cabinetry plans and elevations (when we go to contract, we will credit the retainer amount to your deposit). Our plans and elevations will be precisely to scale so that you can get an exact idea of what the cabinetry will look like. All the details of what will be included in the cabinetry will be on those plans. There will be no surprises or disappointments.

Step 4  Go Over Your Options

Once the plans and elevations are drawn (there may be more than one layout to review), we sit down with you to go over the plans. You will give us an idea as to which layouts and specifics of those layouts that you prefer, what changes you want us to make, etc. We will then adjust the plans to meet your requirements and price the project exactly.

Step 5  Installation

When the plans are finalized, we will have you join us to review the plans and the pricing. The next step would be to review the timing of the project. When will the contractor begin, when will cabinetry arrive, how long will the cabinetry install take, when will counter tops be installed, when will the contractor finish. We will then sign the plans and the contract. A deposit of 50% is required to order the cabinetry (at this point you will have already issued the 10% retainer, so and additional 40% will complete the deposit). When the cabinets arrive here In Sarasota, a draw of 40% will be due. When installation of cabinetry is complete and approved by you, the final 10% will be due.
